William Heape was born and raised on the farm where he got his first taste of heavy equipment. His childhood was spent helping his father sell and trade farm and construction equipment. As he grew older he began buying, selling, and trading farm and construction equipment on his own. As time went on William began working in the auction business and in December 2006 American Auction and Equipment LLC was formed.
